I was browsing the web and stumbled onto a nice little thread about auto recycling in Toronto and New York – I have actually been to that salvage yard, Standard Auto Wreckers and had a whale of a time. I went on one of their Free Parts days where you pay a flat fee and can take as many parts as you can carry from their U Pull It area.
I recommend auto recycling to anyone thinking of getting rid of an old car and I hear you can even donate your old junk car to charity and get a tax receipt. Now that is a win-win situation if I have ever heard of one!
